Kathmandu, Jan 18: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), the government entity, has shortlisted ten candidates for appointment to the vacant position of General Manager through a competitive selection process.
According to the Corporation, among the sixteen applicants who applied through open competition in accordance with the General Manager Selection Procedure, 2082, candidates who met the minimum required academic qualifications and professional experience have been shortlisted in alphabetical order.
The shortlisted candidates are: Upendra Bahadur Karki of Morang, Tanka Nidhi Dahal of Jhapa, Dr Deepak Prasad Bastola of Kaski, Dipuraj Jwarachan of Kathmandu, Dr Bhim Bahadur Chand of Baitadi, Yograj Kandel Sharma of Gulmi, Bishnu Babu Mishra of Lamjung, Bed Prasad Upreti of Dadeldhura, Sanjay Kumar Singh of Siraha, and Santushta Kumar Basnet of Solukhumbu.
The Corporation stated that the shortlisted candidates will be required to present their professional work plans and appear for interviews.
Nepal Airlines Corporation has emphasized that the selection process for the Managing Director is being carried out in a transparent and competitive manner in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
