Tension in Dhangadhi, Local administration imposed a prohibitory order



Dhangadhi: The District Administration Office, Kailali, has issued a prohibitory order in Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-5 Peepal Chautara area after the tension arising over the death of a student in an accident was not resolved.

On Thursday morning, 15-year-old Chetana Saud, who was riding a bicycle to school, was hit by a Grader that was repairing the road, and she died on the spot. After that, local residents and students of Padmodaya Secondary School, Hasanpur, demonstrated throughout the day.

Chief District Officer of Kailali, Kiran Thapa, has said that a prohibitory order has been imposed from 7:00 pm on Thursday to 7:00 am on Friday in order to control the chaotic activities during the demonstration and to protect the lives and property of ordinary citizens.

CDO Thapa said that during the prohibition order, no more than 5 people will be allowed to gather, travel, gather, demonstrate, move around, or drive vehicles.

According to the district administration office, the prohibition order will be enforced within the area of the postal highway located in Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-1 in the east, Old Phulbari Bus Park (Pushpalal Chowk), Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-4 Ratopul in the west, Dhangadi sub-metropolis-5 Community Police Service Center building in the south, and Dhangadi sub-metropolis-1 and 2.
