Term of Prime Minister KP Oli ends in April: Prachanda

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Leader of the NCP (Prachanda-Madhav group) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has claimed that KP Sharma Oli will not be the Prime Minister after April, 2021.

Stating that Oli had not announced a mid-term election, he urged all not to be confused. “Some people began to dream that if the Communist Party is divided, we will win the election,” Prachanda said while addressing a protest rally at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

He claimed that KP Sharma Oli himself did not believe the election will be organised on stipulated time.

He said that it would be a mistake to assume that the person who caused the accident will hold the election leaving the majority of the people behind.

Likewise, senior leader Jhalanath Khanal also criticised the move of prime minister KP Sharma Oli, alleging that there is alternative other than reinstating the parliament.

He asked prime minister Oli, “Where is ship? Where is gas pipeline connected with each of the houses?”

Jhalanath Khanal.

Khanal said that Oli forgot party and party-system immediately after he entered Baluwatar.
