KATHMANDU: A team of the Armed Police Force has arrested three Indian nationals with weapons from Bideha municipality-1 of Dhanusha district on Monday.
The team deputed from APF Base Camp, Mahinathpur, arrested Rahul Ranjan, 29, Ujjwal Kumar, 20 and Sanjay Kumar, 26, of Muzaffar-7 of Bihar in India with weapons, said Deputy Superintendent of Police of APF, Dhanusha, Prakash Kumar Subedi.
Subedi added that police seized one 7.65 round loaded pistol while checking the Maruti car (BR 06 AP 3008) at Indian bordering area while they were heading towards India from Janakpurdham.
All of them have been sent to Area Police Office, Khajuri, for necessary action, said police.
One held with home-made gun and bullets
The arrestee has been identified as Prakash BK, 32, a permanent resident of Bharatpur metropolis-10, Swamichowk and is currently residing at Bharatpur-5, Bikaschowk.
Police recovered a gun, bullet, cash Rs 114,000, a gold-made chain and five mobile sets from the room of BK, shared the District Police Office, Chitwan. Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
