Three-member committee formed to appoint NEPSE CEO

Kathmandu, Feb 24: A three-member committee has been formed to fill the vacant position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) through an open competition.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the committee was formed following a decision at the level of the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister.

The committee is chaired by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Sevantak Pokharel, with Joint Secretary Amrit Lamsal as a member and Dr. Khomraj Kharel as an expert member.

Meanwhile, the committee has invited applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) through an open competition.

According to a notice, eligible candidates must hold at least a postgraduate degree or an equivalent qualification in economics, management, commerce, finance, information technology, law, or Chartered Accountancy. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in a senior managerial position within the capital market, financial sector, or management field.

Applicants are required to submit their applications along with their professional work plan.

The CEO’s remuneration, allowances, and other benefits will be determined by NEPSE with the approval of the Government of Nepal. #NEPSE #nepal #CEO
