Dang, Dec 16: Two persons died after they were injured seriously in a road accident occurred at Jharbaira of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-10 along Ghorahi-Tulasipur road section.
The deceased have been identified as Bishal GC, 17, of Jhimruk rural municipality-4 and Sagar KC, 18, of Naubahini rural municipality-6 in Pyuthan district.
Both of them died today in course of treatment at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, according to Deputy Superintendent of Nepal Police at the District Police Office, Dang, Janak Bahadur Malla.
The incident took place on Friday night when a tipper (Ra 1 Ka 1307) hit a motorcycle (Ra 2 Pa 5589) coming from opposite direction.
Police have arrested the tipper driver Ishwor Budha, 26, of Runtigadhi rural municipality-9 in Rolpa district.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
