Bharatpur, May 31: A cyclist died after being hit by a truck last night near Martal Bridge, Rapti Municipality-4 under the East-West Highway.
65-year-old Hari Pandey of Rapti-4 died due to a collision with a truck. According to the district police office, Pandey, a cyclist, was hit by a truck number BAP 03-00KHA 1863 coming from Lothar towards Narayangadh. He died last night during treatment at the Old Medical College.
The truck driver has been detained by the police.
