Nawalpur, Nov 21: Twenty people have been injured in a bus accident at Madhyabindu on the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East).
The bus with registration number Lu 2 Kha 2845, travelling from Narayanghat to Butwal, met with an accident at Khajuri Khola, Madhyabindu–8 today, police said.
According to Madhu Nepal, the information officer of the District Police Office, all those injured in the accident are being treated at the Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital in Danda.
The team dispatched from Tamsariya police station rescued the injured. The police stated that preliminary investigations revealed that the accident occurred as the driver lost control of the bus.
11 students injured in Palpa bus accident
Meanwhile, eleven students were injured in a bus accident occurred in Palpa district this morning. The bus was carrying students from Dang district to Ranimahal in Palpa district for an excursion.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Palpa, Hom Prakash Chaudhary, shared all the injured students have been rushed to the United Mission Hospital, Palpa. It is said that the health condition of all the injured students is normal. #accident #nepal
