Chitwan : Two persons died in elephant attack at Thori postal road today. Inspector of Police at Area Police Office, Madi, Harka Bishwokarma, informed that a herd of elephants killed Baburam Poudel, 60, and Raju Poudel, 35, from Madi municipality Ward No 1. They were killed near Ambuja Post at ward no 9.
The herd attacked them while they were riding in a motorcycle (Lu 31 Pa 2911) and going to Bandarjhula from Madi via the Chitwan National Park.
Inspector Bishwokarma added that the herd attacked the riders at 7:30 am.
