Kathmandu, July 28: Two persons died in a road accident at Himchuli of Chandragiri municipality-4 in Kathmandu today.
The deceased have been identified as Nabaraj Thokar, 20, of Sindhuli and Anil Tamang, 46, of Kavre, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Narayan Adhikari.
The accident took place when a van (Ba 10 Cha 3546) heading towards Chitlang from Kathmandu fell some 200 meters off the road due to over speed at a time when the van, got stuck in mud, was pushed said Thankot Police.
However, three others managed to escape the incident as they got off the vehicle to push it, added police.
