Two people died in Nissan vehicle accident in Kavre



Banepa, Oct 31: Two people have died when a vehicle carrying straw met with an accident at Shila Bhanjyang in Panauti Municipality-2 of Kavrepalanchok. Another person was seriously injured, police said.

According to Rajkumar Shrestha, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Kavrepalanchok, Tuesday afternoon, two people were killed when a Nissan vehicle BA4K 6723 going from Kushadevi to Naya village broke down and fell down about 600 meters from the road.

Among the deceased are Rabin Acharya, 40, resident of Kushadevi Ward No. 2, Panauti Municipality, and Shiv Bikram KC, 50, resident of Bethanchok Rural Municipality-2. Both died while being taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

According to police, 45-year-old Sharda Timalsina of Bethanchok Rural Municipality-2 was seriously injured in the incident. His head, neck and both arms and legs were fractured. The injured are being treated at Scheer Memorial Hospital in Banepa.
