Udayapur, Mar 7: Two sisters died after a vehicle hit them on the roadside near the Triyuga Bus Park in Gaighat, Udayapur. Information Officer of District Police Office, Udayapur, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Kedar Man Dong said 14-year-old Anu Kumari Das from Rajbiraj in Saptari district and her 12-year-old sister Devi Kumari died after a jeep (Province No. 1 05-001 Cha 092) hit them on the roadside on Thursday evening.
Anu Kumari died on the spot, while Devi succumbed to the injuries in the District Hospital, Udayapur. Police said that jeep driver Nirjal Katuwal of Triyuga Municipality was arrested after the incident. #accident #nepal
