Birtamod, Dec 16: Two women were killed in a motorcycle accident near Setumari Chowk, Damak Municipality-10.
According to Krishna Kumar Chand, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Jhapa, the motorcycle, carrying three individuals, lost control and crashed late last night.
The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Jamuna Dhimal and 25-year-old Om Kumari Rai, both residents of Gauradaha Municipality-5, Jhapa.
The motorcycle driver, 27-year-old Biraj Thapa of Ratumai Municipality-8, Morang, is currently undergoing treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamod, police informed.
The motorcycle has been kept at the Damak Area Police Office, and further investigation into the incident is underway, police said. #accident #nepal
