Kathmandu, Dec 15: The Under-19 Asia Cup Cricket tournament has begun in Malaysia today.
The Nepalese team, led by captain Pooja Mahato, will face Pakistan in their opening match tomorrow. The game will start at 11:45 AM Nepal time.
The tournament features six participating teams: Nepal, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The six teams are divided into two groups. Nepal, India and Pakistan are in Group A while Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Bangladesh are in Group B.
Nepal’s performance in this tournament will be closely watched as they compete against some of the strongest teams in Asia.
Earlier today, India U19 team beat Pakistan U19 team while Sri Lanka U19 team beat Malaysia.
