UML’s Prem Bahadur Maharjan won from Lalitpur 2

Lalitpur: CPN-UML candidate Prem Bahadur Maharjan has won from Lalitpur Constituency No. 2. With this victory, UML has opened an account in the House of Representatives.

Maharjan received 19,734 votes. Although the counting of votes is over, the Election Commission has not announced that Maharjan has been elected.

Maharjan’s closest rival, Sudin Shakya of Hamro Nepal Party, got 10,440 votes.

The ruling coalition nominated Krishnalal Maharjan from this constituency. But from the very beginning of the counting, he was far behind.

Nepali Congress has already won two seats from Manang and Mustang.
