Kathmandu: The vote counting of the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly will be simple and easy because of small size of the ballot papers compared to the local level elections.

Chief Returning Officer of Kathmandu Raju Kumar Khatiwada said there will be no confusions in vote counting as the size of the ballot papers is small and simplified one. “The ballot papers have been printed as per the number of candidates in every constituency. So, the counting this time will not be cumbersome,” he assured.

The ballot papers prepared for the local level elections were large in size.

The Office of the Returning Officer is learnt to announce the entire result of the polls in the estimated time by the Election Commission.

Likewise, Chief Returning Officer of Kathmandu Khatiwada said that entire preparations were over for the election in all 10 constituencies of Kathmandu district.
