Kathmandu, Oct 5: Due to the influence of moisture-laden monsoon winds from the Bay of Bengal, light to moderate rainfall is expected across the country today.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecast Division, most areas in Koshi and Madhesh provinces will experience full cloud cover, while Bagmati and Lumbini provinces will remain mostly cloudy. The rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions.
The weather bulletin further notes that many places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as some hilly and Terai regions in other provinces, may witness moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Additionally, heavy rainfall is likely in certain parts of Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
The department added that hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces will generally remain overcast, with a chance of moderate rainfall and thunderstorms in some areas. Heavy rainfall could occur in one or two locations of Koshi’s hill regions. #nepal #weather #monsoon
