Hetauda, Oct 4 : A woman died in an accident nearby China Gate at Hetauda sub-metropolis-1 this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sita Neupane, 35, of Hetauda-1, confirmed the District Police Office Makawanpur. Pillion rider Neupane died on the spot when an oil-laden tanker (Na 8 Kha 3872) heading to Hetauda Bazaar from Hetauda-11 hit the motorbike (Na 56 Pa 4935) en route to the same direction.
Her husband Shashi Neupane, 45, also sustained general injury in the accident. He has returned home after having general medication at Hetauda Hospital.
Tanker driver Mukesh BK, 24, of Bhimphedi rural municipality-1, Trikhandi now is under police control. Further investigation into the incident is going on, said the district police office.
