Bajhang, Sept 17: A woman, who had suffered excessive bleeding after undergoing labour, has been airlifted to safety.
Ram Devi Bohara,24, a resident of Dhalaun in ward no. 1 of Saipal rural municipality was rescued by a helicopter today to the district hospital Chainpur.
She had been admitted to the local health post after experiencing labour two days ago. She had given still birth but continued to bleed hence requiring advance medical treatment.
Bohara was airlifted under the President Women’s Upliftment Programme, according to Chief District Officer Umesh Pandey. Her health is improving gradually at the hospital.
