Women, Children and Senior Citizens Minister Sudi assumes office



Kathmandu, July 16: Newly appointed Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishor Shah Sudi, assumed office today. Taking charge of his office, Sudi said he is committed to delivering for the cause of women, children, and senior citizens.

He directed employees to focus on delivering more and more results with the maximum utilization of available resources and performing best of their capacity keeping the nation and citizens at first.

“The sole efforts of the minister sans support and cooperation of employees, the goals remain unmet,” he said.

The 76-year-old Sudi who represents the Janata Samajbadi Party in the CPN (UML)-led coalition government won the latest House of Representatives election from the Saptari constituency number 1 under the first-past-the-post election system. He was born to mother Kaushalya Devi and father Bhola Prasad Sahu in 2005 BS at Hanumannagar Kankalini-9 in Saptari.
