Women voters outnumber men in Tanahun district



Tanahu, Jan 5: Tanahun district has a total of 254,397 registered voters for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5.

According to the District Election Office, Tanahun, the number of women voters in the district exceeds that of men. The office reported that there are 130,906 women voters and 123,491 men voters.

District Election Officer Bikas Lamsal said that Vyas Municipality has the highest number of voters in the district, while Devghat Rural Municipality has the lowest.

He further informed that Tanahun Constituency No. 1 has 136,118 voters, whereas Constituency No. 2 has 118,279 voters.

Lamsal stated that a total of 309 polling centres have been arranged across the district.

The Election Commission collected voter registration details from September 26 to November 21, 2025, in preparation for the House of Representatives election slated for March 5. #voters #nepal
