World Cup Cricket: Match between Nepal and Sri Lanka canceled due to rain



Kathmandu, June 12: The ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup cricket match between Nepal and Sri Lanka has been canceled due to rain.

Although it was supposed to start at 5:30 this morning at the Broward County ground in Florida, USA, the game was canceled due to continuous rain. After the match was cancelled, both teams shared one point each.

In the World Cup, Nepal has scored one point from two matches, while Sri Lanka has the same score from three matches. There is still a possibility of Nepal entering the previous stage. South Africa, which is in Group D of the World Cup, has already entered the Super Eight with six points from three matches.

Bangladesh and Netherlands have two points each from the same two matches.

Nepal will play against South Africa in the West Indies on Friday.
