Kathmandu, Aug 27: Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival announced the Yashaswi Sahitya Sanman to legendary Nepalese writer Dr. Madhav Prasad Pokhrel, Indian writer Prof. Awadhesh Pradhan, actress and writer Divya Dutta.
Yashswi Sahitya Sanman established by Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival in association with Yashaswi Prangya Pratistan (Yashaswi Foundation) of Nepal. The award has been a novel way to acknowledge and honour, literary legend of both countries.
This was informed by the Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival, Director, Ranjana Niraula. Last year Yashswi Sahitya Sanman conferred to legendary Nepalese writer Satya Mohan Joshi, legendary Indian writer Ashok Vajpeyi. Yashaswi Prangya Pratisthan, Nepal and Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival founded Nepal Yashaswi Sanman from this year. The award will acknowledge and honour, person who contribute for the promotion of brand Nepal in global stage. The award will be given to selected personalities during the 2nd Surya Nepal Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival in Kathmandu, said Rashmi Ranjan Parida, founder of the Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF).
2nd Surya Nepal Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival will start from September 1,2, 3, 2023 at Nepal’s historical capital city Kathmandu. Annual Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF) is one of the leading literary festivals in world from India, from this year Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF) will host Kathmandu edition in Nepal capital city in association with Yashaswi Prangya Pratisthan, and the Himalayan Diary Pvt Ltd. Over 400 writers from Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka will join the festival
“The 2nd Surya Nepal Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival will showcase literature, music, dance, poetry, and other art forms of South Asia. The KLF Kathmandu’s this edition is designed to strengthen the civilizational, cultural, and spiritual dialogue as well as literary perspectives in the South Asian Region.
