Nawalparasi, July 2: A youth died after a vehicle hit him at Kharkatta area in Kawasoti Municipality-8 along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purba) last night.
According to the District Police Office, Til Bahadur Rana Magar, 23, of Hupsekot Rural Municipality-5 in the district was killed in the incident.
Critically injured in the mishap, Rana Magar was rushed to Madhya Bindu Provincial Hospital in Danda. Later, he was referred to a hospital in Chitwan where Rana Magar breathed his last during his treatment this morning.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Yubraj Khadka said that a search for the vehicle and driver has been initiated.
