Kathmandu, Oct 22: National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center has reported that the earthquake that was felt in Kathmandu valley and surrounding districts this morning passed through Dhading epicenter.
According to senior seismologist Lokvijay Adhikari, an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude occurred today at 7:39 am with its epicenter near Khari in Dhading.
The shock was felt in Kathmandu Valley as well as in Gorkha, Nuwakot, Makwanpur, Chitwan and other districts.
Details about whether or not the earthquake caused damage is yet to come. However no such damages were reported in the valley.
