74 new COVID-19 cases, one death in 24 hours

Kathmandu: The country has added 74 new COVID-19 cases with an infection-related casualty in the past 24 hours.

The caseloads were from the total 4,126 tests (1,234 RT-PCR and 2,892 antigen), according to regular COVID-19 update by the Ministry of Health and Population.

So far, the number of recovery cases reached 986,235 with 116 during the same period. Similarly, death toll from the deadly virus hit 12,017. The recovery rate was 98.7 percent while casualty rate 1.2 percent. Active infection cases were 1,283.

At present, 1,234 infected people have been in home-isolation and 49 in institution-isolation.

Likewise, 10 have been admitted to intensive care units. None was administered COVID-19 vaccines in the past 24 hours, said the Ministry.
