Kathmandu, Dec 28, 2019 : The Nepal Academy of Fine Arts has awarded the winners of the ‘Beautiful Nepal, Happy Nepalis’ photo competition organised by the Academy.
In the competition, Mithun Kunwar came first and bagged a prize of Rs. 40,000 at a function held on Friday. Likewise, Prabin Shrestha stood second to win Rs. 25,000 while Daya Sagar KC won a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. Skanda Gautam received the consolation prize of Rs. 10,000.
A total of 221 photographers had take part in the competition from across the country, sending their photographs for the competition. Of them, 70 were put on display at an exhibition organised by the Academy.
Academy Chancellor KK Karmacharya gave away prizes and certificates to the winners.
