Kathmandu, Jan 19: Mr. Chandra Kumar Ghimire has officially commenced his duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the United Kingdom.
Arriving in London, Ambassador Ghimire was accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. Sarita Neupane Ghimire. The couple received a warm welcome at Heathrow Airport from David Pearey, Special Representative of the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the UK. They were joined by the Deputy Chief of Mission and other officials from the Embassy of Nepal.
Mr. Ghimire formally assumed his position at the Embassy.
