Another injured of Kamalpokhari incident dies, death toll reaches three

Kathmandu, Feb 15: Another person who was injured in a fire incident occurred at a Momo shop in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu due to gas leakage has also died on Friday.

Pradeep Tamang, 22, a resident of Udayapurgadhi rural municipality-7 and currently residing in Kamalpokhari of Kathmandu Metropolis-28, died during treatment today, informed Nepal Police spokesperson Dinesh Kumar Acharya.

Tamang breathed his last while being treated at Kirtipur-based Burn Hospital in the afternoon, he said. With this, the death toll in the incident has reached three.

It may be noted that 11 people were injured in a fire that broke out in a shop at Kamalpokhari on last Thursday. Among the injured eight people are currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

Earlier on Monday, Rabin Rai, 18, of Dillipur of Manhari rural municipality-5 of Makawanpur and Bhim Bahadur Ghale Magar, 25, of Katari municipality-8 of Udayapur died while undergoing treatment. #accident #nepal
