Kathmandu, Oct 19: An earthquake has occurred with the epicenter of Bajhang in Sudurpaschim Province.
According to Ceismoligical Center in Surkhet, an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale took place at 10:30 pm last night with its epicenter near Chainpur, Bajhang.
The shock of the earthquake was also felt in surrounding Bajura, Achham, Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Darchula and other hilly districts. Residents of this province have become alarmed after continuous earthquakes in recent times.
