Bakr Eid on Monday, govt announces public holiday

Kathmandu, June 14: The government has decided to give a public holiday on the occasion of Bakr Eid (ul-Azha), the festival of Muslims, which falls on Monday, June 17.

Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification today and decided to give a holiday on the occasion of Bakr Eid.

Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai shared that according to the notice published in the Nepal Gazette, it has been decided to give a public holiday on the day of the festival.
