Bala Tripurasundari Temple in Dolpa

Located in Tripurakot, Ward No. 1 of Tripurasundari Municipality in the mountainous district of Dolpa, the Shree Bala Tripurasundari Temple holds significant historical and cultural importance. According to written history, the temple originated in the year 1114 AD from a rice-pounding mortar.

Renowned as a full Shakti Peeth (power center), the temple attracts devotees from across Nepal and beyond. Additionally, it is famously known as the “Temple of Birth,” symbolizing its divine origins.
