Tanahu, Aug 23: A bus bearing Indian number plate has plunged into the Marsyangdi river near Aanbukhaireni in Tanahu along the Prithvi highway.
The bus fell into the river from Aina Pahara at Aanbukhaireni rural municipality-2 some moments back.
The bus (UP 53 FT 7623) heading towards Kathmandu from Pokhara fell into the river, said Deputy Superintendent of Police in Tanahu, Deepak Kumar Raya. Indian tourists were travelling in the bus, he added.
However, the number of passengers has not been ascertained yet. Police personnel have reached the incident site and rescuing the passengers. The details of the incident are awaited. RSS #Nepal
