Kathmandu: A 53-year-old coronavirus infected person of Gaidahawa rural municipality-3 in Rupandehi district has died on Monday night.
He died at Bhairahawa-based Bhim Hospital, said Vector Control Supervisor at the Health Office, Rupandehi, Kedarnath Shah. He had sustained deep injured on the head when he fell from a house in course of building a house.
He tested positive for coronavirus in course of PCR test to undergo head surgery, said Chief Administrative Officer at the Gaidahawa rural municipality, Chiranjivi Ghimire.
He was brought to Bhim Hospital from Bhairahawa-based Universal Medical College after he tested positive for COVID-19.
With this, number of people died from coronavirus has reached six in Rupandehi.
