Kathmandu, Sept 11: Democratic Thought Society has appealed for exploring solution to the current crisis of the country through peaceful dialogue and democratic process.
Issuing a statement today, the Society has urged all Civil Society Organizations to remain united and proactive to that end.
Expressing the confidence that the political parties, civil society and State’s legitimate mechanisms would remain active again to effectively steer ahead the country, the Society urged the concerned sides to unleash political solution through the constitutional and democratic channels.
Nepali society has faced unanticipated loss of lives and properties during September 8-9 and has pushed the situation to uncertainty, the Society concludes.
Violence in any forms and manifestations is not acceptable to the humanity, stated the release signed by its Chair Kul Chandra Wagle. The Society has extended heartfelt tribute to those killed during the peaceful protests of Gen Z on last Monday and Tuesday, condoled the grief-stricken families, and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. #nepal
