Kathmandu: The Foreign Secretary of Nepal Bharat Raj Paudel has called on the External Affairs of India Dr S Jai Shankar Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
According to the Ministry, matters of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries were discussed. However, sources say that Foreign Secretary Paudel has requested Indian side to resolving border issues as earliest.
Secretary Paudel is currently in India, and reviewing the on-going issues including development cooperation with the Indian side. During the meeting, Nepali Ambassador to India Dr Shankar Sharma was also present there.
