Former Prime Minister Khanal being taken to Delhi for treatment

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior CPN (UML) leader Jhala Nath Khanal is being taken to New Delhi for further treatment.

He will be taken to Delhi at 12.30 pm on Wednesday, according to Khanal’s secretariat. Khanal will be treated at the Apollo Hospital in Delhi.

He was admitted to the Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali, Kathmandu on Monday morning due to fever and low blood hemoglobin level. Earlier, Khanal, who was infected with coronavirus, had returned home after undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital for a long time.
