Kathmandu: The government has directed local levels to sign agreement as per the model of approved draft in course of establishing sisterly relation with foreign local level.
Sending a circular to local levels, Section Officer at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Administration, Namita Regmi, asked the local levels for the same as some of the local levels have been found signing agreement with foreign local levels against the agreement paper approved from the government.
The local levels could sign agreement only at the permission granted by the cabinet in course of establishing sisterly relation with foreign local levels.
Under-Secretary at the Ministry, Resham Kandel, shared that 16 local levels have established sisterly relations with foreign local levels so far.
A local-level can establish sisterly relation with four to five foreign local levels, he added.
