Gulmi, Feb 14: Electronic medical recording system has been launched at Gulmi Hospital, Tamghas. The World Health Organisation (WHO) launched the recording system for the first time at the hospital under Lumbini Province.
With the beginning of the electronic medical recording system, all types of services of the hospital would be clearly seen through the digital technology. Dr Allison Gocotano of WHO Nepal and Health Minister of Lumbini Province, Khem Bahadur Saru, handed over this technology to the hospital. Both of them had jointly launched the system.
Launching the electronic recording system, Dr Gocotano urged the service seekers to take service using the technology at maximum.
One can get information about details including billing, ticketing, availability of doctors and medicines through the system, shared officiating chief of the hospital, Baibhav Basyal. The patient can get details of past to present in an easy and smoother manner due to this.
Similarly, Health Minister Saru mentioned that with the operation of the system, patients will receive the hospital service in an easy manner.
Activities are underway to install GPS in all vehicles under the Health Ministry and keeping citizen charter mentioning all the health services and the charge for the same, he added,
