Kathmandu: Chief of Army Staff of Indian Army Manoj Mukund Naravane is coming on a visit to Nepal in coming month of November.
The visit of the Indian CoAS stalled due to the post-COVID-19 lockdown in the two countries will take place in the coming month of November in the lunar calendar, according to the Nepal Army Public Relations and Information Directorate.
During the visit, President and Commander-in-Chief of Nepal Army Bidya Devi Bhandari will confer the honorary rank of the General of Nepali Army on Naravane.
The visit by the Indian Army Chief had already been endorsed by the Council of Ministers in February earlier this year.
