Kathmandu, Dec 23: Renowned Indian singer Sonu Nigam is set to meet Nepali audiences during a live concert in Nepal.
The event, titled “Sonu Nigam Live in Nepal,” will take place on December 25 at Hyatt Hotel Ground, Boudha. In a video message, Nigam expressed his excitement about performing in Nepal.
“I have sung many Nepali songs, but I have never held a concert in Nepal. Now, I have the opportunity to meet Nepali audiences directly. I am eagerly waiting for this special day, and I promise an unforgettable performance,” Nigam said.
Event organizer Abhinash Ghimire, director of Nepali Touch Nepal, said that Sonu Nigam was chosen because of his ability to perform both Nepali and Indian songs, which makes him a perfect fit for the Nepali audience.
Preparations for the event, including setting up the stage with advanced lighting and sound equipment, are in their final stages. The Hyatt Ground, with a capacity of 12,000 people, has already sold 6,000 tickets.
Some of Sonu Nigam’s popular Nepali songs include “Yo Jindagile,” “Ukali Orali Gardai,” “Phoolko Dali Dalima,” and “Yo Mayale Hera Na.” His famous Hindi songs include “Mere Dholna Sun,” “Kal Ho Na Ho,” “Saathiya,” “Papa Meri Jaan,” and “Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin.”
Tickets for the concert range from a minimum of Rs 2,000 to a maximum of Rs 50,000. Nigam is scheduled to arrive in Nepal on the morning of December 25. #nepal #SonuNigam #concert
