India’s Vistara prepares to fly to Nepal by December



Vistara, a major private airline company of India, is preparing to conduct regular commercial flights to Nepal, according to Indian media.

Reports say the company is planning to launch flights to Nepal and Thailand by the end of 2019.

Vistara has been operating domestic flights only till now. It is commencing the international flights from Tuesday this week. Its first international flight will head to Singapore. In its bid to expand its market, the company is set to launch flights to Dubai within August.

The company last year placed an order for 50 aircraft from the Airbus for the domestic market as well as short and medium-haul international operations, with deliveries scheduled between 2019 and 2023, according to an IANS report.

Additionally, the airline has purchased six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft that are scheduled to be delivered between 2020 and 2021, and will be used for long-haul international operations.
