Kathmandu-Bangkok flight resumes

KATHMANDU: Direct flight from Kathmandu to Bangkok that was halted due to COVID-19 is to resume soon.

Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal Vosita Vorasaph confirmed the flight resumption during his courtesy meeting with Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Thursday.

On the occasion, Minister Ale thanked Ambassador Vorasaph for assistance of Thai government to Lumbini area in Nepal and urged him to provide help for Maternity Hospital in Lumbini.

He also urged him to facilitate VISA for Nepalis going to Thailand and manage concessional medical treatment for them in Bangkok.

Minister Ale stressed the need for Nepal and Thailand to make maximum efforts to further strengthen old historic relations between the two countries.
