Taplejung, April 27: One child died and two others were injured due to lightning in Taplejung last night. According to police, 11-year-old Dorchi Sherpa of Maiyakhola Rural Municipality-4 Sanghu, Chitre died due to lightning.
Dorchi’s father Darinchi and mother Mingla Lhamu were seriously injured due to lightning. Bijay Prakash Vanem, Chairman of Maiyakhola Rural Municipality informed that both the injured are being treated at the district hospital.
