Kathmandu, Dec 12: Newly appointed Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Prof Dr Kumar Ingnam, has assumed office on Friday.
Minister Ingnam was welcomed by Ministry’s Secretary Madan Bhujel and other high-ranking officials in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu. Briefly talking to media persons while assuming the office, the newly appointed Minister highlighted the need of utilizing Nepal’s barren lands.
“Nepal’s land is fertile but it is not used properly and adequately. Many Nepalis are dependent on agriculture,” the Minister observed, pledging high priority to farmers and marketing of agricultural produces. #nepal #rss
