Ministers Kharel and Sinha observe UML headquarters



Kathmandu, Dec 23: A team comprising Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Anil Kumar Sinha, Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, and Political Advisor to the Prime Minister, Ajay Bhadra Khanal, today inspected the damaged party headquarters of the UML at Chyasal in Lalitpur.

After inspecting the party office, Minister Kharel shared that they visited the party office which was torched and damaged during the Gen Z protest on September 8 and 9.

On the occasion, he said the UML has been urged to participate in the election as the government would create environment for election. The government has taken the UML’s commitment to participate in the election positively.

Minister Kharel opined that the government would move ahead making all necessary arrangements for the election, adding the High-Level Probe Commission and the government have been working separately on the issue of travel restriction imposed on UML Chair KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak.

Similarly, Minister Sinha shared that the CPN (UML) would also participate in the election as the environment for election is being created.

UML General-Secretary Shankar Pokhrel, Deputy General-Secretaries Yogesh Bhattarai and Raghubir Mahaseth were present on the occasion.#nepal #rss
