Kathmandu : Names of four senior medical specialists have been recommended for the appointment on the post of Director at the Medical Education Commission.
Those recommended are Prof Dr Ramesh Prasad Acharya, Prof Dr Sangaratna Bajracharya, Prof Dr Dilip Sharma and Prof Dr Arati Shah.
The Commission on November 5 had called for applications to this regard from interested candidates meeting the required qualification, it is said.
It had received 26 applications wishing to be appointed on the posts. The Medical Council Act-2075 BS has ensured the four posts of director at the NMC.
The four directorates are Criteria and Accreditation; Planning Coordination and Academic Upgrade; Exam Controller and National Board of Medical Specialists.
