Nepali Congress leader Yadav’s health condition stable

Kathmandu, Sept 6: The health condition of Nepali Congress Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav, who suffered an attack with a sharp weapon earlier today, is reported to be stable.

He is undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the supervision of doctors at the National Trauma Center and his condition is stable, according to a statement issued by the chief medical superintendent of the center, Dr Badri Rijal.

Yadav suffered serious injury to his head but no internal injuries were found during a CT-scan. He was brought to center at 2:30 pm today with injuries to his head and neck, and bleeding. He is now kept in the intensive care unit of the center for observation.

He was attacked while returning after attending a programme at the Reporters Club Nepal on Wednesday afternoon.
