NEPSE improves by double digit today



Kathmandu, March 28: A double-digit improvement was seen in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index today (Tuesday). The index increased by 12.41 points to 1,918.41 points. It’s an increment in trading for continues second day.

According to NEPSE,  a total of 44,777,778 shares of 258 companies were bought and sold.

Today, the sub-indices of Development Bank, Finance and Life Insurance Group have decreased by 11.14, 5.46 and 10.37 points respectively, while the sub-indices of all other groups have increased. Today, the sub-index of microfinance group has increased by 115.91 points and the sub-index of manufacturing group has increased by 81.18 points.

Similarly, banking group increased by 3.76 points, hotel and tourism group by 13.76 points, hydropower group by 6.31 points and investment group by 0.62 points. Today, life insurance group increased by 29.58, mutual fund group by 0.33, business group by 22.83 and other groups by 7.62 points.
