Kathmandu – On Sunday, the NEPSE index of the stock market increased by 14.35 points. After the increase of that number, NEPSE has remained at 1858 points. The turnover did not increase. A total of shares worth Rs 516,800,000 was traded. While the price of 135 companies increased, 39 decreased while 8 remained stable.
Banking 11, development bank 33, finance 4, hydropower 18, life insurance 39, manufacturing 10, microfinance 29, non-life insurance 90, other 11 and business subgroup increased 4 points. The hotel and tourism subgroup decreased by 19 points.
The price of Ruru and Sayapatri Hydro increased by 10 percent, Jana Utthan Community Microfinance increased by 4 percent. The value of Abhiyan microfinance decreased by 7 percent. Based on transaction amount, Everest Bank, Nabil Bank, Nepal Bank, NIC Asia Bank (Promoter) and Garima Bikas Bank were ahead respectively.
